The PTE certification exam is organised and scored by computer. PTE is offered in many countries around the world, such as Pearson Education in Vietnam since 2007.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Currently, PTE has 3 test types, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PTE Academic (PTE Academic)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PTE General (PTE General)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PTE Young Learners (PTE for Children)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For those of you who want to study and settle in Australia in the near future, PTE Academic (also known as PTE A) is a possible choice to consider to replace other English-language certificate such as IELTS and TOEFL. Until now, these certificates are accepted by 100% of Australian universities and the Department of Home Affairs (immigration) when applying for admission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To compare with IELTS, the structure of the PTE A test is more complex with more than 20 different sections lasting 2 hours divided equally across skills. However, some students consider PTE A as an easier test system to achieve a high English score than IELTS.
