Every year, many students apply to study nursing at one of Canberra\u2019s top universities or TAFEs. Due to the high demand, it can be difficult to secure a spot to undertake a Bachelor of Nursing course. However, keep in mind that you have another alternative option that takes less than two years to complete – the Diploma of Nursing at CIT. Once you complete this course you can apply to become an Enrolled Nurse – which opens the door to permanent residency pathways through the 491\/190 skilled nominated visa.<\/span><\/p>\n
